What is Royal Rangers?
Royal Rangers is a Christian ministry that reaches across Singapore and in over 65 nations around the world. Its mission is to reach, teach and keep boys and girls for Jesus Christ.
What Happens at Royal Rangers?
Every week, boys and girls aged 5 to 18 years old participate in a holistic program to meet their mental, physical, social and spiritual needs. The core of the program is its regular devotions and study of God’s word. The program aims to guide a child closer to a revelation of who God is and their significance in Him as they develop from kid to a young adult. Dedicated leaders, called commanders, provide boys and girls the necessary mentoring and facilitate the program of each weekly meeting.
The life of a Ranger is never boring. From the youngest age group of Ranger Kids (5-7 years old) to the oldest group of Expedition Rangers (15-18 years old), a child is encouraged to take up leadership roles and there are frequent opportunities to attend exciting camping, outdoor adventure as well as indoor activities catered to the varying needs of the different ages and personality of children.
To encourage learning and development, a Ranger participates in a merit-based advancement program which offers a wide selection of award badges that covers a range of hobbies, interest groups, sporting activities and crafts.
Furthermore, we have now tied up with the Singapore National Youth Achievement Award which allows a Ranger aged 14 years and above to complete the NYAA program via the Royal Ranger merits and program. This is an exciting platform which allows them to integrate what they learn with an opportunity to achieve in parallel Core Curriculum Award (CCA) points from their school as well as an internationally recognised award.
