During the Leaders’ Council 2014, it was announced that there will be some changes to the merits colours for Discovery and Adventure Rangers. They are;

DISCOVERY RANGERS

The Blue and Red merits will be merged to be Blue merits. When ordering the merits, existing stock of red bordered merits will be cleared first before they physically change to blue borders. For the advancement, the red merits required will now be known as blue merits.

ADVENTURE RANGERS

The Green and Gold merits will be merged to be Green merits. When ordering the merits, existing stock of gold bordered merits will be cleared first before they physically change to green borders. For the advancement, the gold merits required will now be known as green merits.
