The Discovery Training Camp (DTC) is a special camp designed specifically for Discovery Rangers. The primary focus of the camp is on learning how to use the Patrol System of outpost leadership, and making a personal commitment to Jesus Christ. Boys will also receive introductory training in a variety of camping skills, including, rope craft, tool craft, fire craft, and lashing. DTC is also unique in that outpost leaders are encouraged to attend as guests and observe the training their boys are receiving.

In 2010, the DTC will be held on August 9-10 at Singapore Vision Farm (50 Jalan Lekar S698945).

DATE:
August 9th – 10th 2010 (Monday to Tuesday-National Day School holidays)

VENUE:

FOR:
P3 and P4 DRs only. Priority will be given to DR’s attending DTC for the first time

DEADLINE:
Please submit your application with full fee to your  Senior Commander by or before 19th July 2010.

PAYMENT:
Cheques or cash cheques WILL be accepted. Cheques to be made payable to “Dorcas Ho”

CANCELLATION:
Cancellation by 26/07/2010 = Refund full fees minus $10 administration fee.Cancellation after 26/07/2010 = No refund.
